After 20 years as a partner at Arthur Robinson & Hedderwicks (now Allens Arthur Robinson) Lachie opened L K Donaldson & Co in 2001. The firm is now called Donaldson Trumble Lawyers.
Lachie had then, and still retains the support of his former partners at Arthur Robinson & Hedderwicks, and is the lawyer of choice for many former clients of Arthur Robinson & Hedderwicks as that firm has concentrated its efforts away from individual and family clients, to larger business clients.
